Lady B- as an Influencer of her day?

This morning your amanuensis received an email to the contact address for the Clorinda website:

I saw your blog and wanted to know if you’re interested in publishing our guest posts.
I’m a blogger outreach executive at a digital marketing firm.

It is not, of course, a blog, and we fancy she would be entire bemuz'd at this solicitation.

However, it gave me to ponder whether there might have been the occasional 'Notes from a Lady of the Quality' appearing in some periodical or other of the Lowndes press, and whether there might well have been ardent solicitations to be mentioned therein. For one supposes the lady's identity might well have been known among the cognoscenti, and her taste being so widely acclaimed, the accolade of her approval would have been widely desired.

(One may well imagine that she would have in the genteelest fashion promoted the interests of her friends, was it the poetry of 'A.M.', the preserves of Roberts and Wilson, the next performance by one of the Marshall family, or the good causes of which Lady Jane was a patron, &C.)
